Parent News
Dear Parents and Carers
It is lovely to hear all about your holidays
from the children, the pre-school children are very keen to share their
excitement with us about having to get up in the middle of the night to go on
holiday.
Within pre-school our bird feeders have not
attracted the birds during the day, although one child has seen a bird fly over
them, we perhaps need to set up a camera to see if they visit us when we have
gone home.
Just some gentle reminders for you this week:
·
Please
can you remember to sign your children in and out of the nursery
·
Butterflies
and Bumblebees would like to remind you that your child has a tray where they
put all there art work so do remember to check it for the latest masterpiece.
·
Also
in Butterflies and Bumblebees, can we remind you to take your child’s bag and
coat home each night as space on the pegs is rather tight.

ensure that there is adequate first aid provision for children and staff that
may become ill or are injured at the nursery.

statutory requirements and the needs of the Nursery are met.

adequate and effective first aid cover:

that all employees are aware of the procedures to be followed in the event of
illness or injury at work.

that an appropriate number of first aiders are recruited and trained (allowing
for holidays, etc) and that a sufficient number are present in the workplace at
any given time.
3. Maintain
adequate first aid equipment and facilities appropriate to the degree of risk,
including for those employees who work away from site.
First aid boxes will be located in accessible
locations around the nursery and be signposted.
They should be regularly checked and replenished by a nominated person
